FAQ's...
1. What is the difference between Camp Gator and Camp Kerns?
Camp Kerns was created this year by the former director of Camp Gator. Since Sacred Heart is undergoing a large construction project and will not be offering a summer program, Tim Kerns, Wide World of Sports, and Adventures Camp teamed up with St. Raymond's in Menlo Park to offer the same summer experience that the community looks forward to each year. The two big differences will be location and we will not offer a swimming option.
2. Will lunch be provided?
Yes, Camp Kerns will provide lunch everyday. The entire menu will be launched on the website by May 1st so you can plan accordingly if there is a day or two that your child would rather bring a lunch.
3. How does extended care work?
It is offered everyday camp is offered from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. The cost is $10 an hour and you pay for the hours you use at the end of each week. You do not need to sign up or prepay, just know it is available for as many hours as you need each session.
4. My child turns 4 in April, can she attend?
Over the past couple of years, we have found camp to be rather long and tiresome for children that just turned 4. We struggle with the appropriate cut-off since every child is so unique. We are going with a January 2010 cut-off this year as the time your child has to be age 4 by in order to attend camp this summer. We apologize for the inconvenience.

"My rising 6th grader loved the Wide World of Sports Camp. It's nice
to have a camp offered that involves old fashioned, fun playground
games. I was also very impressed with the high level of organization of your camps"
"I wanted you to know that our daughter had a wonderful two week experience attending adventures camp. she was excited to head to camp every morning and had many positive things to say when she returned. In addition, the ease of pick up and drop off and that you all provide lunch was especially appreciated by me! your staff was terrific and really wonderful with the kids."
"My son said this camp was his favorite of the 3 he did while here with
me. He lives in Atlanta with is mother, and made very very clear that he wants to do your camp again next summer. So he'll be back to your camp then."
"Thanks for your note. My kids LOVE your camp. It is pretty much a guarantee that one of their friends will be there...always a good sign. My kids love that they get to play a wide variety of sports and that they don't HAVE to be a professional at any of them. No pressure... like the school year sports! The staff is great. Both my kids have commented on you and the great people you have working with you. We love your camp and we will continue to go until we are too old!"
"My son attended 4 weeks of Camp, both WW of Sports and Adventures. He absolutely loved it! Your counselors were amazing ... my son is very reserved and came out of his shell. He loved Lauren and Taylor. I must say the hat and the t-shirts were a huge hit! A few things I loved: hot lunches, drop off/pick up at the car always warmly greeted and hearing my son talk about the games you played. Looking forward to next year and adding another one of our kids to the roster."
"My son and daughter loved cg. They said it was fun and has good food. Scale from 1 to 10, they gave it a 10! See ya next summer!"
