St. Raymond School and Tim Kerns are pleased to present Camp Kerns in 2010. Camp Kerns offers two outstanding programs that compliment one another, Wide World of Sports and Adventures Camp.

Wide World of Sports was started 7 years ago. The vision of the camp was and still is to offer the ultimate summer experience for boys and girls. We offer an environment where kids get to play organized games and sports all day long. We offer all of the traditional sports or variations of them, as well as games that were old neighborhood favorites and games that were invented at the camp. The counselors, creativity, and energy make Wide World of Sports unique, and the talent show and camper's choice Fridays make camp unforgettable.

Adventures Camp was started two years ago to compliment Wide World of Sports. Parents know that some children need to be running around on the fields or in the gym all day, while others would rather do projects, small group games, read stories, use imagination, paint, cook, and be enriched. Adventures Camp offers a different theme each week and age appropriate activities that keep the children engaged while they are building new friendships, bonding with high school and college counselors, and learning and growing with excitement.

Tim Kerns was a elementary and middle school teacher at St. Joseph's school of the Sacred Heart in Atherton for 8 years. During his time at St. Joseph's he founded Wide World of Sports and Adventures Camp and was former director of Camp Gator. Over the last two summers, Wide World of Sports and Adventures Camp reached over 1200 registrations each summer with an amazing return rate and astonishing reviews.
